About our speaker, Marcia
Owner Marcia Simmering Dickerson, Ph.D., is an award-winning educator and researcher with over 20 years of experience in people development. She is currently the Francis R. Mangham Professor of Management at Louisiana Tech University, where she has been a faculty member since 2003. She holds a B.B.A. in Human Resource Management from the University of Iowa and a Ph.D. in Management from Michigan State University. She has the SHRM-SCP certification, is a certified executive business coach, and is an approved training provider for SHRM and HRCI recertification credits and Texas and Louisiana CPA CPE. She and her husband Steve live in Choudrant, LA, with their daughters Lydia and Josie.
